Last night's game got a higher rating than last years WCF.

America will watch dominant teams. Been that way since day 1.

Are you sure, cause the ratings have been down for Games 1 & 2 from last years WCF. Game 2 in fact was the worst ratings since Spurs-Grizz a few years ago.

Warriors have given up 100, 111, and 108 to the Spurs without the Spurs' best player and starting PG.

Cavs have given up 86, and 104 to the Celtics, who had their best player in both games.

I said "almost universally." Which means, MOST people thought he was the GOAT at that time.

After the '91 Finals, Magic and Bird had not yet retired, Jordan was still beginning his ascension to legendary status. Dream Team had not yet even been assembled.

Most people saw Kareem's numbers at that time as untouchable. Period.

What he did in high school, college, and the pros when Kareem's basketball career was all said and done in '89 made him the ULTIMATE WINNER. Dude dominated in college and the pros. That's why he was widely considered the GOAT basketball player.

Kareem was definitely considered the Goat in 91. You need two, here comes Kareem with the skyhook and you can't do anything about it.

Funny how people keep thinking the Cavs defense is so much worse than the Warriors' yet the Warriors' can't seem to stop the Spurs' B-Team from averaging 106 ppg against them.

Meanwhile the Cavs' much maligned and so-called sorry *** defense giving up only 95 against the #1 seed in the East without home court advantage.
