Took pictures this morning then realized when I got to work that these were from NFL Shop. I do have two custom away jerseys from PPS that I’ll take pics of for you when I get home. They are all the old style though.

You can probably find a better explanation online, but prior to Nike taking over, any numbers with an outline were double layered. When Nike took over, they began using kiss cut numbers, so it’s all one layer, including the outline. I assume this was mostly for performance, since they make the jerseys a little lighter.

Our gripe in here is in regards to customs being layered instead of kiss cut. I’ve attached an example of each below.

It’s the replica. I guess you could say the NCAA version of a limited. Do they even sell college authentics any more.

I’m a cowboys fan to the end but I went to school with DE Muhammad Wilkerson so I was thinking of buying a custom Jersey but I don’t know if I should go through packers pro shop or fanatics. I’ve heard horror stories about fanatic customs. Any ideas?

Damn I wish fanatics weren’t so bad, they sometimes have 25% off that works on custom jerseys but pps never have codes really. I might just pay the extra for the peace of mind

From what I’ve seen, all the Packers customs from the pro shop are done by Ripon- Same Wisconsin based company that does it for the Packers on field.

Custom Away Edelman came in, and as expected, no kiss cut. Looks ok; gotta laugh though, NFL shield is a bit crooked.. always something.

I bought a Garoppolo elite a few months ago and the NFL shield was so crooked I got it re stitched through a tailor. You'd think they would get it right for the price you pay.

I’ve had this for like 3 or 4 years. Got it from a Lids clearance sale for pretty cheap. I figured you can’t go wrong with #1. It’s the shiny material, so that’s not the best. Plus, it fits prett big. I got my normal size (medium) and it fits like a large. They were still doing the Length +2 thing when they made this one.

I’m not sure, but I doubt it. The size chart on the sites are pretty accurate for these jerseys. Plus, since you’re looking for a limited, you can find it in store and try it on, since every store should have them in stock.

I don’t know what i should do, Packers pro shop has the custom for 354 and I have a fanatics code that the jersey will come out to 245. Are they really that bad?

The quality from Packers Pro Shop would definitely be better. But since the Packers have numbers without an outline or specific details, I can’t imagine Fanatics messing it up that bad. If they give you something like a crooked NFL shield, you should be able to return it.

I would’ve gone with packer pro shop when they had the 20% off awhile back but I have already ordered through fanatics since I saw the 20% code here. Fanatics stitched the name plate very low to the point where there is about an inch gap between the letters and the numbers.

The Vapor Elite are the ones with numbered sizes and cuffed sleeves. Those are the ones referred to as “authentic” here. They are also $325 and up. Vapor Untouchable Limited are stitched names and numbers, but the fabric is a lightweight material akin to a t-shirt. They run about $150. No cuffed sleeves, and they are more fan-friendly to wear. The elite is as close as you can get to what the players wear on game day
