Don't all GMs make collaborative decisions? How can they attract top talent if they don't want them to run the show?
The more I read about this, the more it's evident that ownership doesn't know what they want...
They want to hire the best possible talent, yet they want him to be a puppet. They were all in on the process, then did a 180 by hiring the Colangelo's.
Ownership clearly has no direction, yet they are looking for a yes man. That's why they couldn't land Griffen, Morey and Buford were obvious long shots, but not being able to land Rosas, Harris or Zanik speaks volumes.
