As BS said on the pod earlier this week, they along with GSW were ahead of the curve. Boston knew to draft Smart, knew to reach and draft Jaylen Brown when no one had him that high, they knew to double down on the Jaylen brown type and get another one in Tatum, Knew to get a multiversatile playmaking big in Al Hortford, then went all out and got Hayward.
They, like GSW took the chance on first time head coaches, not retreads.
Just a spread of two way wings and multiple playmakers on the floor at all times, almost of which they drafted.
Then, on top of all of this...they get to add ANOTHER cost efficient piece to this next summer. Greatest rebuild in the history of sports potentially.

Boston snuffed our the Korver action in the 2nd half and communicated the switch off of it. That is the only off ball action that Cleveland really runs that leads to an open 3, or a secondary action.
Once that pass can’t be made...the offense is stagnant and it turns into a Bron iso or Bron P&r with 8 seconds on the shot clock.
You take your chance with those.

He was one of the best bench scorers for a garbage Lakers team. He's never had to do anything on an actual meaningful stage. Sure, he'll get hot and have some good games here and there going forward, but he's still a complete liability defensively and can't do anything but get buckets for himself.
