He was one of the best bench scorers for a garbage Lakers team. He's never had to do anything on an actual meaningful stage. Sure, he'll get hot and have some good games here and there going forward, but he's still a complete liability defensively and can't do anything but get buckets for himself.

Again, joining Lebby you have to be a certain type of support player. Clarkson didn't fit the bill. You can point to LAL's no pressure situation and it's fair, going into a system like Lebby is also quite challenging, especially for a non exceptional shooter

Role players are role players for a reason, they don't have to be a complete player. Yes he can't defend but I'd disagree with not being able to get buckets for himself
