Rodney Hood, the guy who averages 2 assists a game for his career, and those assists have been of this variety:

his assists have stemmed more from crisis response -- "Oh, crap, I'm trapped!" -- than any proactive reading of the defense. Utah needs a hair more playmaking.

That’s who you guys want to be a playmaker. That’s not his game.

Too much of this is what’s wrong with Cleveland and Houston and not enough is about what’s right with Boston and gsw.

Like to a degree the rockets could move the ball more, but what would it matter with gsw’s switching? Are we even sure that it would be a net positive for Houston? To a degree LBJ could let others make plays, and he could move more off the ball, but really who else on that team right now do you trust to even bring the ball up the floor? Who else do you trust to make plays?

At the end of the day two teams are clearly better than the other two teams IMO especially in that GSW Hou series, where Houston is playing one of the GOAT teams.

We are discussing it in these instances because 99% of people will look at Brons 40pt triple double last night and conclude that he is getting held back by the team he assembled....and he’s doing everything....while they “bums” he plays with aren’t giving him enough. And THAT is why the Cavs are down 0-2. Not the fact that the Celtics are hooping and playing together.

The take away is “Bron is doing his part”....the others under the bus.

This thread is hilarious.

When LeBron scores and makes plays for others, he’s playing LeBron ball and you can’t win like that.

When he lets others handle the ball and try to make plays, he’s not engaged and he’s just going through the motions.

Don't be mad ...

You talking like you some basketball savant but not even in JV.

If you don't like it, be weak and block me ....

BtW, I never slander anyone but the chosen one.

funny thing is this is full of dudes that think they "know" something...mostly just a bunch of blog boys and NT NBA thread Skip Bayless's

Bron couldn’t risk driving to the hoop when he was concussed. Can’t afford another hit the head, even a small one, when you have a concussion. Symptoms would be obvious and he’d HAVE to sit out game 3. Won’t believe this series is over til Boston wins 1 in Cleveland though.

Nice try again to shift the convo. You acting like we want the others to be Chris Paul or something. No....we’re just calling out that these guys could be useful better....and in a way that empowers them more than to just be solely reactionary to LeBron. And Bron could do more little things on offense and move without the ball to make things easier.

Is that really THAT harsh of a criticism?

Extremes and capers.

Boston clapping they *** :lol
Cavs play terrible D and lethargic offense

Celtics have the better game plan, offensively and defensively, and they're executing it to a way better T. Them young athletic boys got heart man lol
As it stands, even without Kyrie and GH, Boston is the superior team to Cleveland.
Cleveland has the best player.. Boston got the best everything else and coach lol

I've seen them try to run plays for Hood and Clarkson and they both clunk it up lol.
Hood is buns.
Clarkson is at least aggressive though but his shot streaky as ****.

The way boston is defending the post is rough too lol

The guys he plays with aren't giving him enough though. They are being outplayed. Why they're being outplayed is another story, but the Cavs others are definitely being outplayed.

Let me ask you this: Do you think the Cavs are better off with Clarkson, Hood, Green, etc. running PnR and creating plays against the Cs? Like do you honestly believe that in an ECF game against the Celtics, on the road, that that would give the Cavs a better chance at winning?

If this was a russ west situation I get you. He isn't even breaking 5 games in the first round playing his way. But bron ball has made finals runs, netted chips, he's insanely successful at it. If it isn't working against the Celtics, then the Celtics may just be a far better team than the cavs. Giving the ball to bron and letting him make all the plays has proven to work. If it doesn't work against the Cs then I mean, so be it.

So yet you go back to the same tired routine that hasn't worked?

Facts, Lebron handle the ball to much. He gets everyone out their game. When he really is pushing the pace asserting himself and scoring that's when everyone else thrive. When he went out the game Clev was playing solid.

Some days I swear you are a russian bot set up to troll people about Lebron. I strongly dislike lebron, but man, you are on another level.

Nah I think Celtics in the finals would be okay with the nba. They have a huge fan base . I honestly personally know more Boston fans then LeBron fans and I live in la. I think nba rather have the warriors vs the Celtics tho then Houston and Celtics.

If the solution to aiding the cavs is allowing Hood, Clarkson,(Who I do like) Jeff Green, etc. to make plays on the road in the ECF then you're just doomed and you probably are better off riding LBJ seeing how far he can take you.

Let me ask you this. When you go to your local gym to play pick up ball, how much effort would you say you give when someone stands around and dribbles the ball for a crap long time? If I get on a team with a dude like Harden or Westbrook that dribble the ball around then take some dumb *** shot or expect me to sit in a corner and do nothing, you arent getting **** out of me defensively.

This isn’t the rec man it’s the ECF.
