Don't care about these stupid convo's but I do think that Osman should get a look. Always thought he looked decent in the regular season and at this point, anything is worth a shot.

Let me ask you this. When you go to your local gym to play pick up ball, how much effort would you say you give when someone stands around and dribbles the ball for a crap long time? If I get on a team with a dude like Harden or Westbrook that dribble the ball around then take some dumb *** shot or expect me to sit in a corner and do nothing, you arent getting **** out of me defensively.

This is a reach. If I'm playing with a guy who's winning every game in pick up playing his way, then what can I say about that?

This isn't the Rec, this is the ECF. Mind you, LBJ has won 7 straight ECF's and has 3 chips to show for his style of play.

It's not like he's some above average player we're talking about. He's INSANELY proven. In theory, you'd be right but not with LBJ, and not with these teammates.

they won't get destroyed in the finals
if they win a game against the Warriors that would be a success...word to AI's Sixers

Lets see how they do in Clev 1st tho, they havent been the best on the road

Boston's crowd is amazing

Theres nothing like the Garden when it gets rocking.

Come to think of it theres just something about New England sports. Both players and fans.

When players come to a NE team they buy into it and embrace it and the fans reciprocate.

I can't dribble or playmake so it's cool. Let me play d rebound and feed me wide open shots once in awhile and I'm gravy .

Why are we clamoring for different looks for the Cavs when they haven’t even been using their usual looks to the best ability? Last night was on Ty Lue’s insubordination of leaving JR in and Lebron being dizzy or whatever we’re making the narrative today. Two things that can and will be fixed. Nobody on the C’s can guard Lebron in the post. They know that. And it will be the reason the Cavs win this series.

The guys he plays with aren't giving him enough though. They are being outplayed. Why they're being outplayed is another story, but the Cavs others are definitely being outplayed.

Let me ask you this: Do you think the Cavs are better off with Clarkson, Hood, Green, etc. running PnR and creating plays against the Cs? Like do you honestly believe that in an ECF game against the Celtics, on the road, that that would give the Cavs a better chance at winning?

If this was a russ west situation I get you. He isn't even breaking 5 games in the first round playing his way. But bron ball has made finals runs, netted chips, he's insanely successful at it. If it isn't working against the Celtics, then the Celtics may just be a far better team than the cavs. Giving the ball to bron and letting him make all the plays has proven to work. If it doesn't work against the Cs then I mean, so be it.

See....idk why y’all think I’m suggesting hood, Clarkson and whoever to run high P&R and make plays off the bounce while Bron just stands in the corner etc :lol.

I’m not. What I am suggesting is more movement, being involved outside of just being a shooter, cutting, screening for each other etc. Thats on Lue and LeBron to figure out how to Maxmize those guys roles.

Right now they are getting outplayed because they only run quick hitters for Korver...and when that doesn’t work...it’s a Bron re-screen or Bron iso late in the shot clock...with everybody standing and looking.

Bron Ball worked in the past because he was younger, better, had better teammates and coaching. It won’t be as effective now (in year 15....when he has lesser talent and is older playing against a smarter team)

I’ve always thought Bron and westbrook had similar games on offense. They don’t pass the ball for movement and to beat the defense. They’re usually passing for an immediate shot attempt. The glaring difference is shot selection and that’s because of when they drive. Bron is half a foot taller and 60lbs heavier. Russ has to drive and avoid people to get to the bucket. Bron runs through defenders and rarely gets called for a charge.

When Russ gets those exact numbers, he’s padding. Bron is playing with bums when he gets them.

No hate; Bron’s one of the best though.

This isn’t the rec man it’s the ECF.

Bro

I'm just using human nature as an example. Would you be more apt to do more if you knew you were going to get an easy bucket out of it or if you were going to stand around for 20 seconds of the shot clock and someone is going to jack up a shot?

People say that Lebron and Harden need more out of their teammates, but thats hard to get when you are running ISOs for half the game and thats not necessarily on those players. Lue and D'Antoni have to find a way to get others involved as well.

If I’m Rodney Hood and my value was dwindling with every game, I’m doing whatever it takes to get my money.

Agreed that Lebron is great and he has won playing this way previously, but he isnt going to win playing this way in his 15th season and beyond playing against teams who play good team ball and defend. Not to mention that the standing around that the cavs do on offense translates to their defense giving them one of the worst defenses in the league. Those Heat teams defended well. This Cavs team is trash defensively.

Teams like Boston and the Warriors are successful because they know if they get to the right spots and the make the right cuts or make the extra pass, they will be rewarded for it.

This style of play may be the best foot forward for teams like the Cavs and Houston, but dont tell me its their teammates fault for not doing anything when their offense is designed for them to wait for a pass if they arent the PNR ball handler or roll man.

I think for as great as he is , (imo hes the best player ive seen whole career play out despite me disliking his game ) and he is great he could've and should've won more. Talent wins out sometimes but in a better system he could've won more. I feel like he left alot of meat on the bone
. It's not always the team with most talent =always wins tho.

Similar how I feel to shaq not being in shape and taking ball as serious as he could of . Sure he won 4 rings but I think he could've been the goat honestly. He left some rings on the table imo

Promise you if Russ was half as successful as LBJ he wouldn’t get criticized nearly as much.
