ugh they probably built their homes is some desolate asz subdivision. you miss the point about "weekend city" not everyone lives in some quiet burbs, and mind you not everyone is a high paid athlete. some of us are regular joes with regular jobs that cut through cities like houston for contract jobs. i'm in houston im leaving mañana if houston don't get chip win over cavs.

houston is cool but cats out here for low tax return rates, bbq and crawfish nothing else, nothing more.

Quin and Camby are good examples because they’ve made in the tens of millions. Canaan has only made like $5MM.

You can’t really live “That Life” with that much money. If you’re a Harden, Aikman, Deion, Emmitt, Hakeem (shot out to his summer scams), CP3 now or basically anyone that matters you’re living wherever you want.

Dudes come to H town all the time to hang out, hit strip clubs, etc then head home. There really isnt much to do in Houston after youve seen everything..

It is. I was out there not too long ago. A lot of people that lost their homes during Katrina havent been back.

I read an article and it did not really explain this part either. I didn't care enough to dive further but now I am more curious. Maybe some folks here like Freddy fig can provide insight.

Rent has went up in certain neighborhoods so people can no longer afford to live there from what ive heard. Im sure @freddy fig knows more about whats happening in Nola.

Yea im not sure what industry has driven them to move to Nola. But in general many people are starting to move back to cities after living in suburbs for years.
