Dudes in the south may be able to get land for cheap but you’ll prob have to ride by a confederate flag daily on the way home from work.

I tell people all the time, used to know a chick that lived out here in NY, tiny roach infested apartment in a ****ty building.
Moved to a suburb right outside of ATL, went to go visit, big *** house in a nice neighborhood with white people and driveways and ****.
I love NY. But I'm not ignorant to it's flaws. General cost of living is ridiculous up here. Streets are filled with homeless young people who came here cuz it was their dream.
I live in West Midtown. Been in Atlanta for 4 years. White neighbors look at my wife and I like we don’t belong there. Some of weirdest looks. Try to make convo they keep it pushing. I think they more concerned with there dogs.

None of us who actually grew up here can maintain the "NY is the only place in the world" illusion like a lot of transplants do. But then again if you've ever lived anywhere else for a year and come back NYC can be mindblowing again.

I mean when I go out to the suburbs I start to twitch and look around me. You couldn't pay me enough to live in the burbs inland in a lot of states. But there are nice places to live. Philly ain't bad.

I had GSW in 6 and I stick by that. The Rockets could’ve folded but they stood tall, took 2 haymakers and closed out the game. Gotta give credit to them. CP3 and Harden played like needed to. I feel like game 5 is a must win game for GSW honestly. They can’t afford for this to to go 7

With what just happened in Santa Fe you think Warriors aren’t about to be walking into a war zone with that crowd in Toyota?

Real Questions here: maybe I can spark a real basketball convo.

Does anyone give Boston a chance still? It seems as if they’re left for dead by all media outlets and most causal fans. How do you see these next cpl playing out??

And...

Being without bias....What’s your feeling on a best of 3 now for Dubs and Rockets with HOU having 2 at home??? Thoughts on how it plays out.

Al Horford has had a really difficult time offensively going back to G2 since Lue made the adjustment to match his minutes with Tristan. Tristan has been his kryptonite going back to Atlanta, and it’s continuing.

Korver’s defense has also not been nearly as bad as Stevens was hoping. They’re shooting something like 8-28 on Korver defended post ups.

Then on the other end they’re hunting Rozier, Lue made the adjustment to post LeBron/Love far away from everyone so Rozier can’t switch back out or he has to run a mile to do so, leaving somebody open

It’s looking like 7 at least. And if Korver gets hot from 3, plus another 40 from Bron, Tristan continuing to lock down Al....

Gonna see how great Kerr can be now. D'antoni took him to school...just like Lue did in 2016  Iguodala is that calming influence on the court for them but still sad that none of those 4 All Stars can be that guy who can show high bball IQ in those moments. We all know it ain't Curry...ol behind-the-back pass out of bounds in the final minutes of the game 7 Finals

Just let Bron get his and stay with the role players. He can post up Rozier 60 times for all I care.

Game 4 would have been significantly closer without all the missed dunks and bunnies.

The suburbs are just so dry to me. Although sometimes I wonder what it would have been like to have the Norman Rockwell, middle america upbringing.
Sometimes I even wish I had it, but then I remember I'm black, that **** was never going to really be mine anyways. Not like in the paintings and the shows.
Not bad to visit though. Get away from the city for a while. I always enjoy doing that. But I gotta return. If not to this city, then another.

This I live in Houston and I second this. This is a transplant city so other than life long rocket fans, most people here only show up when the team is good.
When I lived in Houston I felt the opposite. Never seen people at bars and restaurants so into basketball games like they were into Rockets games.

Put 100$ on Rockets last night ML. Brought me in 300$. So far 7-1 on my ML bets this playoffs.

Tonight and Tomorrow are the toughest decisions for me....I just do not know or have a hunch yet.
I don’t know if it’s D’Antoni or Jeff Bzdelik but they are REALLY paying attention to detail defensively. Those selective switches are a nice wrinkle. They’re making GSW play a ton of 1on1.

It’s just a matter of consistency at this point, particularly from Harden. Klay went 2/5 from 3 last night, both of them from Harden literally giving up on the possession.

Klay is getting absolutely nothing in this series otherwise. If he’s not catching Harden sleeping it’s been complete lockdown.

Not to mention the school systems suck in the south. The South also has higher poverty levels. I’ll pass.

I keep coming back to that stupid *** play when Draymond just let the ball hit him in the face and gave up a free basket to end the 12-0 opening run.

I don't understand how he can be so consistently sloppy with turnovers when he is so detail oriented on defense.

Preach it brother Shannon!

I love Jersey but after spending almost a decade living in Atlanta and seeing the stark difference in cost of living the North is lowkey trash.

Not too me. I’m 10 min from NYC. I wouldn’t want to live in ATL or Houston. Or any other southern city.

How do some of y’all think the suburbs or the South are better than the North? We ain’t eem talmbout California. We talmbout the South. The North is where all the money, power and prestige resides in this country which is why I think it gets hated on.

I remember when I was being recruited for college, the admissions officer at Emory kept trying to sell me on it being “The Harvard of the South”. In my mind I was thinking “i’d Rather go to the Harvard of the world” but it’s one example of many that exist of other cities and regions constantly comparing themselves to the north because it’s superior.
