Just let Bron get his and stay with the role players. He can post up Rozier 60 times for all I care.

Game 4 would have been significantly closer without all the missed dunks and bunnies.
The safest bet has always been to dare LeBron to go for 60, and involve him defensively so he’ll wear down. He’ll inevitably fatigue, role players will have no rhythm & will struggle to score. They’ll struggle to hit 95 as a team.

For whatever reason, he keeps compromising the defense to help on Bron. Boston will continue to get in trouble like that.

How do some of y’all think the suburbs or the South are better than the North? We ain’t eem talmbout California. We talmbout the South. The North is where all the money, power and prestige resides in this country which is why I think it gets hated on.

I remember when I was being recruited for college, the admissions officer at Emory kept trying to sell me on it being “The Harvard of the South”. In my mind I was thinking “i’d Rather go to the Harvard of the world” but it’s one example of many that exist of other cities and regions constantly comparing themselves to the north because it’s superior.
Exactly the NorthEast and Cali is where all the power and money is. The North East and Cali def gives more than they take from the feds. This country would die without Cali and the North East.

Warriors had 4 players in double figures vs Rockets who only had 3. Both Steph and KD shot under 40% FG wise. The Rockets definitely won that game off of defense

Here's my peace as someone who's lived in all of these areas. I was raised in Atlanta, but since joining the Navy I lived in Rhode Island, Washington State and now I live in the Bay area of California. Plus my sister lives in Boston so I know the Northeast part of the country pretty well.

As much as I love Atlanta, all things being equal I'd rather live in the Bay Area or the Northeast. The Hard Sell for most people is the cost of living and high taxes. Perfect example, I live in the suburbs of the East Bay in California (Walnut Creek) and I pay $3,000 a month for rent. Fortunately, I'm in the military so they pay for my housing but otherwise there's no way I could live in this area especially when you put the crazy California taxes on top of that. If I ever want to buy a home I can not live here that's why many people are leaving California, it's not because they don't like it it's because it's a prohibitive Lee expensive to live here.

If you have the money, by all means live in Boston, New York, or LA. For most people you just get more bang for your buck living in Atlanta. Nice weather, a lot to do, beautiful women for half the price of those other places.

I mean of course the North is superior. The North has always been superior since the Civil War. A lot of people try to throw out false dichotomies "oh the racism the same it's just different." The North isn't perfect but it is and never will be like the South is.

Dudes act like they can’t find somewhat affordable places to live in Cali, or NY and NJ area. You can find affordable housing in those areas you just gotta look. You can live comfortably making 60k a year living in those areas.

Ahhh gross sweeping generalizations of regions.

I see what we are on today
I’ve lived in the South. I’ve lived in VA, Houston and ATL and I hated the south. ATL is cool but you’re always reminded you live in backwards right wing Georgia. Same with Houston, you’re still living in backwards right wing Texas. Northern VA is cool to me though.

Don't get me wrong, you can make ends meet and find a somewhat decent place in those cities. But like I mentioned,$3,000 a month in the Bay Area suburbs gets me a 1500 square foot three-bedroom house whereas $3,000 a month in Atlanta gets me two houses or one gigantic house.

Not to mention most people don't just want to live, I'd like to be able to have a nice house, save money for retirement, I don't want to be house poor just to say I live in New York or LA or San Francisco. All those areas are great, but unless you're bringing in big money I wouldn't advise it.

Yea but you can find cheaper housing outside of Ny, LA or San Fran I can imagine. My homie just copped a huge 400k crib in a NJ suburb not far from NYC.

My friend tried to convince me to get a job and cop a crib in Htown. I can get a nice crib for cheap there but I would get tired of all the driving out there and I would be bored and I would hate the humidity year round. The cost of living in Houston is even going up.

It’s prob diff for people without kids too. I don’t have any kids and don’t plan on have any anytime soon so I don’t need a big house or a bunch of land.

Now that I have to pay for all my own things to live... Living down south is way better than up North.

I can respect these takes. However if I could get a 2BR/2BA condo in the Northeast (Philly or DC) for $1MM or a McMansion in ATL, Charlotte, St. Louis, etc for the same price or cheaper, I’m choosing the condo in DC.

Because of the money, power and prestige, I also feel that it attracts more diversity because so many people are chasing those. I do a lot of work in Charleston, SC and i was there for five days earlier this year and I could count the number of black folks I saw on one hand. I was shocked.

Not in Essex or Bergen County you can't.

id happily downsize my house and cut back of a few expenses to live in so cal
once im done with my masters thats the move i hope to make
This I’d rather have a smaller apartment in a major Northeastern city or in Cali than have a big house in the South.
