He was the best player on a team that won 65 regular season games and then just lost in Game 7 of the conference finals to a team that has 4 all-stars, 2 of which are former MVPs, with Chris Paul missing both Games 6 and 7.

Why are we doing this?
because his shot selection was terrible and overall playing was trash IMO

go back and review every time Harden had the ball and let me know what you think after

Realize that a big reason why the league has trended towards more 3’s is because most guys can’t generate open looks from the midrange or make enough contested midrange jumpers to justify taking them.

The Rockets missing a ton of 3’s doesn’t have anything to do with taking midrange jumpers or getting to the rim. You have to be able to get open and make midrange jumpers. You have to be able to put the ball on the floor and get to the damn rim, a real skill that can’t be had with just a mindset switch.

You're saying harden isn't capable of this?

Remember when curry was food after game 2, didn't hear much of that after that game.
He played well on d the rest of the series.
Erupt might be right , possible he's an elite defender.

you gotta admit he does look AWKWARD on defense often. sometimes i swear hes doing this weird naruto-run/scuttle to stay in front of who hes defending. its just weird to look at. but if it works it works

How did Klay not get fouled out last night? Like seriously? D’Antoni is a fraud

I think making the Finals 9 straight times is crazy to believe.

As a Warriors fan, it's just a great accomplishment because they were trash for decades.
Ok, so if that's the case, wouldn't you think a team that won 8 consecutive championships is the greatest team ever?

I mean is probably the same level of competition back then that's one the east currently.

All series I kept seeing talk in here about how dudes like curry kd Looney Bell west etc were food on d but now their defense is too good to play real basketball :lol. Maybe if they had been doing it all year instead of relying on that iso bs it wouldn't have been so difficult

8 consecutive? Yes, I would argue that would be the greatest team ever.

Pretty sure anytime Harden wanted to get to the basket last night he did, either all the way to the rim, or that floater, or even a couple midrange Js. He just kept jacking up those trash 3s though at the critical junctures of the game.

Harden didn't play well but he was going up against the best d in the nba and the series was still a toss up . Sorry but I don't get the you can't win with him as your number one option . Newsflash this was the real nba finals ..

Anyone still saying curry is food is talking out they behind .

Harden is the best offensive player in the history of the NBA or so I was told. He was fine in every 1st half but continually had his Gatorade meter flashing in the 2nd. Maybe if he actually tried to move off the ball and not dribble 400+ times each game he'd be able to conserve energy for when they needed it most.
