That's the thing with Drawing fouls being a major part of your skillset, this is the playoffs man the refs ain't about to be calling every ticky tack foul especially knowing you have a reputation against fouling. You then add in that competition is better & smarter, so teams are naturally gonna foul less. It happens to Harden every year & every year he resorts to taking extremely contested three point shots.

Being 6’8 and 265+ helps in that decision. Throw in the fact that Bron gets away with offensive fouls like Shaq and I’d argue he needs to start the game going to the post. He’s a mismatch no matter who is guarding him.

Kobe different. Not all stars are held to the same standards and you know that. No one judges curry or dirk the way they judge a top 5-10 nba player ever .
the greater you are the higher standards you will held to except for LeBron's case in which they will lower the bar for you.

Nope Kobe’s post game was on point. But saying what Bron does isn’t nearly the same. Ive always been an advocate for getting closer to the bucket instead of shooting a ton of 3s and calling it a game plan.

I completely understand shooting 3s at that clip when you're on fire or even in a semi rhythm. But there is something to be said for having something else in your arsenal when the fastball isn't going. And for Harden this entire series his fastball was pretty slow.

I counted about 18 threes that were contested off the dribble threes, but somehow that's supposed to be good offense. The Rockets couldn't possibly find a way to get better shots than that

The point is that anybody can post up. The whole point of it is to have an option when the 3 isn't there and you can't get all the way to the rack. Bron did this repeatedly to ice the celtics in game 7. Driving, getting denied, turn around jumper. Even made some passes and drew some fouls with it. Harden doesn't have that in his game and it's why he struggles because he's hella predictable
