The funny thing is Stanley doesn’t understand that the best way to attack Harden is to get him switched on a quick guard and isolate. Or put him in a position where he’s the help defender.

Putting him in a position where he doesn’t have to move his feet i.e posting him up is playing right into his strengths.
I always laugh when teams put him in situations where he is allowed to play Post D. I am like, WHO doesn't know that is an area he excels in.

Sometimes, I think teams just overthink it. Just keep him moving on D, and cause him to have to do alot of thinking

joe ingles taunting paul george last night was historic

i'll remember that moment for years. he was givin it to him

I mean what do you except? He doesn't have much leverage. He's 280 lbs, coming off of a torn ACL (correction: torn achilles) and his team is playing better without him. He's likely to miss the entire first season of his next contract and he's not known for his work ethic so there's not telling if he'll ever be the same player again.

Achilles. Even worse than an ACL.

Knowing NBA gms, you should expect the worst in the most obvious scenarios

It's a high risk, high reward situation. If you sign him to a 3 yr/75m type-deal and he comes back 100% then you've got an all-star player on a good contract but if he doesn't come back strong your organization runs the risk of having alot of dead money on the books for years. I wouldn't want my team to do it.

If the Heat didn't have that trash in Whiteside, I'd like them to throw the 1 year max at Boogie. They'd get him in better shape too

Only question is, who's giving Cousins the max?
According to Zach Lowes article today, the pels were fully expected to offer him the max post injury

You can't do it, and he also pointed out that someone like will Barton could potentially be bad for the mid level. Seems like a stretch but the market will be dry this summer
