Same thing bears did wit Amos. Weren't going to overpay him at 9mil a season and especially knowing after this season Eddie Jackson is due for an extension and he'll get All Pro Money. So Packers signed Amos, and Bears will get a 4th round pick.

Good teams pay their great players and let the good ones walk to get overpaid in FA. Bad teams pay good FA like great players. The Bears have been stuck in the bad team situation for most of the past decade, but now they've flipped the script , and I for one love it.
