they planing on expanding rosters with that 16 per player limit?
i mean 18 is doable.. but you gotta cut preseason down to max 2 games, add at least another bye week and expand rosters

The idea of an 18 game season but each player can only play 16 is stupid af. Why not just keep it 16. What fans are asking for the regular season to be longer

or if you're fighting to make a wild card/division and you're forced to sit guys at the end of the season.
Do you just take chances and bench your star guys early in the season because you don't want to be screwed over with the last two games left grab a spot

it's the NFL.. great product at the heart of it.. but dudes cant get out of their own way with things
they could literally do some simple shh just to increase revenue and/or improve the quality of certain games
shhh if they add an additional bye week to each teams schedule, that off of the bat gives them an extra week of football to sell plus gives guys more needed rest.. expand the rosters to make everyone on the team gameday eligible plus practice squad guys, helps with injuries cause they you can use those backend guys on kickoff units and dirty work stuff
and use teams coming off of their bye weeks for the thursday games.. so the games are actually good because the teams have time to rest and prepare.. and then teams get a mini by after their bye in a sense

wait.. i just realized another stupid aspect to that proposal, teams would have to roster double the specialty guys
since theyd have to bench kickers, punters and long snappers 2 games too

But then in the middle of the season a guy gets injured and has to miss a game or two which would be a prime time to use a back up but you already used up those mandatory 2 games. So you’ve had a back up play for 3+ games unnecessarily lol.
