Really? I feel the lace lock at the bottom helps balance out the hints of infrared all around the sneaker more.

With the carmines, it kinda goes with the red/white throughout the shoe, as if it belongs.

It's a long lasting debate. I feel it ruins the sleek shape to have it there. In the '90s we threw that lace lock out with the box ;-).
