The Penny/Kidd backcourt 2000 was really good. They won 50 some games, swept the Spurs without Timmy, but ran into Kobe/Shaq Lakers in rd 2.

Even the forgettable PGs are pretty good; Dragic, Bledsoe, Marbury, Rubio, IT for half a season

This trade in all honesty doesn't even guarantee PHX a playoff spot, OKC is sure to drop out but the Warriors are back & the Pelicans with a healthy roster are better than them too

There's no guarantee for the 2022 double draft. Those talks seemed to have been shelved last I read.

Suns aren't JUST going to be CP3/Book/Ayton. They already like what they have with Bridges/Cam Johnson. 10th pick should be able to play right away. Cap space probably gets them Jerami Grant or Christian Wood.

They aren't contending for a championship or anything like that but could be a 5 or 6 seed.
