2020-21 NBA Offseason thread: Officially a wrap

If the Heat get the inkling that Giannis is going to sign an extension, then do they still plan on saving their cap space for next summer or go all-in now.
The bucks need to fill out that bench ....
This is actually the Bucks' diabolical way to force Bud to play the starters for 40+ minutes in the playoffs.

you forgot to add the 3 first round picks, which are unprotected. if Giannis leaves, those are becoming lottery picks and the bucks are ****ed. I don't blame them for throwing everything plus the kitchen sink in order to win in 2021 but if they are bounced from the playoffs again next year, what trading chips will they have? free agency could be tight too since their salary cap is gonna be strapped by middleton, holiday, and giannis' mega contract (should be choose to re-sign). Bogdan is in the final year of his contract..

it could get ugly for milwaukee real quick.
If Giannis leaves the Bucks are screwed anyways but they could always S&T him to recoup some assets

if he signs the team will be a 50 game winner every game and those picks will be late first rounders

if Jrue opts out next offseason it opens up a max slot for the bucks

Bogdan just signed a 4 year deal with the Bucks

2020 FA class is weak, I don’t think there’s anyone worth spending on.

The 1st rd picks that Milwaukee sent out being Unprotected has to be because the Giannis deal will get done. If they don’t re-sign Giannis they needed protection for those picks

Yea Milwaukee definitely got much better in terms of their starters, just gonna be interesting how they fill the rest of their roster
