One of the biggest reasons why he will never win squat. Imo

Team USA John Wall > @the collector looking John Wall

But in all seriousness VARNELL HILL VARNELL HILL do y'all think Rustle will fit in with the scene? John Wall was an NBA fan pop culture legend to the point that folks all over the country know about his Rosebar adventures  I guess Russ is a family man and there are several great places for him to live because he can literally live wherever he wants in the DMV  .

im Not really sure what you’re asking me here. He’s 32. He’s a stop gap until the team can bottom back out and start the process again. This was a lateral trade made out of necessity by both franchises. I been laughing all day at ****** arguing over “who won the trade”.

He’s a Wizard for 48 months tops. Don’t care about what scene that ***** fit into.

just be gone by the time emoni or Chet arrive

Wall definitely not the lone "star" in DC assuming you're talking all sports. Probably not a ton of hockey fans in here, myself included, but Ovechkin is probably an even bigger star than Wall. Caps been selling out like every home game since he got drafted.

It's the Skins, Basketball, everything else after. Depending on race it might be different but the heart of DC culture ain't messing with hockey like that. It's called chocolate city for a reason.

I don’t disagree as far as DC/chocolate city culture goes. So perhaps if you’re just talking about the city proper, I could agree. If you’re talking about the whole area, Ovechkin is clearly the bigger draw (not particularly close tbh) and the much better player in his sport. It’s a reason why Wiz tickets were so attainable even when they were good and Caps were selling out every game for a decade plus. Ovechkin also brought a championship to the city.

If you’re only counting black folks, I get it. If you are taking everyone into consideration, the Wiz are the 4th most popular team in the area and they probably aren’t even particularly close to the Caps or Nats.

I don’t see how this is debatable...wizards won this trade. Should have ran it back with Westbrook.

Wild the league making the clippers watch the Lakers get their rings opening night. Thought the nba machine liked the clipper ship. Were on their sack all season. Now they treating em like when your dog uses the bathroom on the rug and you mush their face in it and tellem their mother was a *****.

Both #1 picks. Both all rookie first team. Both hyper athletic PGs with injuries that caused them to miss 2 seasons and robbed them of their explosiveness. Neither had a consistent jumper. Neither have made it to the finals. Neither will make the HOF...In the case of DRose he will be the only former MVP to not make the HOF. The Wall/DRose parallel is more accurate than you give it credit for.

STOP IT.

My man Cesar Trillan over here

Does Alex Ovechkin do anything for the black community in D.C.?

“The NHL does enough to support our program,” says Austin. “They’ve donated a lot of money and time and they have the Hockey in the Hood tournament. We also practice with Alex Ovechkin, which is helpful to know that they care.”

Alex Ovechkin was part of Hockey Night In Canada’s powerful opening last night. The nearly four-minute intro, set to Bob Marley’s Redemption Song, put a spotlight on the Black Lives Matter movement and the newly formed Hockey Diversity Alliance, whose goal is to eradicate systemic racism in the sport and change the face of hockey. The opener aired hours after Matt Dumba became the first player to kneel during the national anthem of the Blackhawks-Oilers game.

Who the hell greenlit naming events aimed at black folks "Hockey in the Hood" and "HNIC" :smh:
