The Wizards ain't that popular because they're trash franchise that's why I put The Skins first and sport of basketball 2nd. When people think about DC culture it is black culture. Gogo music, black owned clothing brands, the accents, the rise of basketball players from the area. Even though the Wizards ain't that popular it is one of very few NBA arenas where you'll see a good amount of black people. The only stars the community gravitated to this decade was RG3 for those 2 years and Wall.

Does everyone really assume KD will come back the same though? I think most people have him as a question mark. On the optimistic side people have been saying he might come back as Dirk. I don't think people expect him to be 2017 KD.

Durant definitely relied on his athleticism. Having that slim frame at his height facilitated that. I can't even think of another 6'10"+ player outside Freak who is/was as athletic.

But I clarified I was talking more about speed, quickness, agility. AD isn't up there with KD and Giannis those categories. Those matter more in the modern NBA IMO.

The other thing is Wall was shut down with knee problems in the two seasons prior to the Achilles tear. Didn't play more than half the season in '17-'18 or '18-'19 because of his knees and then missed all of '19-'20 with the Achilles. He hasn't been healthy since '16-'17 which was a long time ago now.

Sounds like you’ve got no argument to counter with. Or maybe you’ve done the research and saw that Wall is superior to Rose in every major category and realized that maybe his downfall could be more disappointing than Rose. You’re one and only argument is Rose being a former MVP. That might’ve stuck if not for the fact that that was a gift because LBJ was better in all categories that year and received backlash for The Decision. You said Rose led his team to playoff victories? So did Wall. 3times, 3god.
