I’m so glad PG didn’t come to the Lakers lol.
At the time I was hella mad at the FO/Magic for ruining the relationship with Aaron Mintz after trading Dlo for no reason but now I have to thank the heavens.

The playoff P comments, disappearing in the playoffs and the Dame disrespect (I really didn’t like that ****. HELLA corny and I’ll probably never root for him again) all made me sour on him.

I remember the Lakers thread being absolutely livid when Paul George signed his extension with OKC. In retrospect, it was the best move imaginable.

Right. Like, most people would rank PG higher than Klay Thompson. At least @2163O1baller90 would. Klay has been the #2 option on a team that won 1 finals, and went to 2 others as the #2.

I agree. Part of PG's issue is that he talks too much and he should let his play speak for him. Also, coming off of that top three MVP finish really made people think that he was a perennial top 10 player as opposed to that season being an outlier.

I'm watching the 2003 Spurs/Nets Finals on NBATV. The Spurs didn't crack 60 points until there were 10 minutes left. Not in the 3rd, in the game. And they won.

You guys can keep this era.

Defenses were a lot better. Rules didn't stop players from actually playing defense.
