Why not use the 9ers version of it

traded buckner for the 13th pick and then the 9ers drafted kinlaw

That a was a L too. Hell they can look at the Buckner trade as a firsthand reason as to why trading young proven talent for the upside and maybe of a 1st round pick(s) isn’t the ideal move.

Hell even in the case of the Texans who got 3 first round picks from Cleveland. It looks like a haul on paper. But ultimately you gotta hit on those picks.

i don’t think you are looking into this deep enough

Salary cap exists, you can do things to manipulate it.. but choices need to be made

im not against the trade, but it’s asking a lot to ask a rookie to come in and replace a top 3 DT which buckner was and is

buckner resigning should have been the priority over paying armstead or others along the line

but when you guys traded buckner, I think he was 25.. for perspective Wyatt out of Georgia who will get drafted next week is 24, off of talent he should easily he a first but he has off field stuff

Oh I get it. When it’s strictly for money/cap reasons, you gotta do what you gotta do.

The Buckner situation I could rationalize. Although like you said. Buckner should’ve been the priority over Armstead.

But in the case of a disgruntled player in which the organization has all the leverage. There’s no need to make any rushed moves or settle for an underwhelming return just because he wants out.

If he’s this great talent where multiple teams should be calling and pursuing him like all these NFL analysts suggest. Then the offers should be reflective of that. If they’re not. He’s under team control 2 more seasons. Get all the use you can out of him and let him walk when he’s a free agent.

sooo according to chris simms the dolphins were set up to send a 2nd to tampa and a 1st to the new orleans before things blew up

Still find it real hard to believe that a solitary 2nd round pick and 1st would have been e enough to land TB and Sean Payton man

Cool. He’s the only one who hasn’t reported to voluntary workouts. Considering it’s a new system/staff and he didn’t see the field much at all this season, you’d think he’d show. His teammates mentioned that earlier this week.

Didn't he have a some camp situations show up last year?

I remember the cleat thing but think there was something else that had him miss time

These cats need to learn how to chill .... they think they are above everything .... these White Boy network only protect their own and QBs to an extent, everyone else is expendable.

Hopefully is nothing of his own doing though ... like the Giants and Jones being a **** organization.
