My point doesn’t lye in the pitfalls of playing running back.

It lyes in the fact that other teams will want him for his versatility. So him seeking a trade so that he won’t have to run the ball doesn’t make much sense.

If we’re talking receiving ability alone he’s a really good Pro Bowl level receiver like Brandon Cooks. It’s the rushing that puts him in rare air. Any team trading for him isn’t doing it thinking he’ll be lining up wide 100% of the time.

Gotchu I was just addressing the CMC/Kamara comparison.

As I think you mentioned a moment ago, it’s easy to overlook the novelty of what Deebo and Shannahn were doing last season.

There’s no track record of what fair compensation even is at that kind of offensive value.

You’d know better than me but even if you completely take away the rushing, the YAC and Y/R are still elite.

I can understand why he’d want to bank on a career of that and get top tier WR money, instead of playing WR/RB and getting top tier WR money, with what’s likely a shortened career.

Kittle, Deebo and Ayuik are called the YAC bros, so you’re definitely right.

I think that’s a combination of scheme and ability though.

But for srs cant blame the man for usage issues and Jimmy G. But I do think it’s crazy after the season he had, not giving y’all a chance to fix whatever the problems are.
Anywhere he goes is gonna wanna use him like that though.

Maybe bro prefers more Jet Sweeps than lining up in the I-Formation? Idk but seems like a compromise can be had.

Joe Douglas won't overpay for Deebo.

Personally, I would still rather have A.J. Brown over Deebo. I would be lying tho if I said I wouldn't be hyped if the Jets land him.
Yeah dude is nice but aint no way I see the Jets giving up their 1st this year, unless is just a swap. We have to many holes and I think a they can find a quality WR at 69 overall .... probably a long shot but hey ...

The usage thing confuses me tbh.

You just showed out on the world stage, all season and in the playoffs only a game away from the Superbowl.

You think every other team is not gonna use you like Shanny did?

He's an alien-level talent, but that only really shines with his dual-threat ability.

Imagine Kamara or CMac said "I don't feel like playing slot"

All of this. It baffles me. I'll wait and see how it plays out, but it doesn't add up.

Cause all them extra touches is another extra hit and another chance he can get hurt. He and His agent looking at the difference between that rb money and wr money and made their decision
Yeah dude is human. He was with the **** trying to make a SB run.

but when you have time away from the game things can change. Now he’s trying to put himself in the best position to not only secure a 2nd contract but a 3rd after this one

I don’t disagree his RB play makes him versatile only comparable to a few, but this stat on Deebo is crazy.

Was telling my boy via text earlier.

Even without a single touch in the run game, you basically getting slightly improved Jamar Chase numbers, and that's with Jimmy G at QB.

#1 in Y/R, #2 in YAC only behind Kupp on half the volume of receptions.

I can’t see KC going after him. If they didn’t want to pay Tyreek that kind of money why would they make a trade and then pay Deebo that type of money?

Curious to see the impact these WRs trades going have on the draft

Obviously if 9ers move deebo, burks would be high for them (basically do the Buckner move again)

But I’m assuming there is going be a run on guys now with these crazy deals
