My point doesn’t lye in the pitfalls of playing running back.
It lyes in the fact that other teams will want him for his versatility. So him seeking a trade so that he won’t have to run the ball doesn’t make much sense.
If we’re talking receiving ability alone he’s a really good Pro Bowl level receiver like Brandon Cooks. It’s the rushing that puts him in rare air. Any team trading for him isn’t doing it thinking he’ll be lining up wide 100% of the time.

There’s no track record of what fair compensation even is at that kind of offensive value.
You’d know better than me but even if you completely take away the rushing, the YAC and Y/R are still elite.
I can understand why he’d want to bank on a career of that and get top tier WR money, instead of playing WR/RB and getting top tier WR money, with what’s likely a shortened career.
