We're all of 50 years removed from segregation and about 20 years removed from homosexuality non-acceptance. A lot of those men and women of a certain age still subscribe to that logic even though they can't voice it publicly anymore for fear of cancellation, and they're calling the shots in most industries. Sterling and Gruden were sloppy but please believe everyone that runs in their inner circles talk the way they do.

If you feel a certain way about someone why not say it to their face? Oh yea because he’s a ******….he has no credibility, he is not a tough guy….all that spittin you do on the sidelines and you can’t tell Goodell or Demaurice how you really feel.

CNN, MSNBC, for example, would be the ones that would pay money for that.

Thats just an everyday type of guest for Fox if they were to have a racist come on. He wouldn't be saying anything that would surprise Fox. They would probably try to justify what Gruden was saying.

Players have been trashing Jon Gruden for years.

I’m usually against snitching if you were a complicit willful participant in something.

But if I’m Gruden and I end up being the fall guy to take the heat off of someone higher up the ladder than me in an investigation I had nothing to do with.

**** that. I’m taking a bunch of people down with me and naming names. He’s done in the NFL either way. This isn’t going to boil over in a few years to where he ends up landing another espn gig or another coaching job.

Right before he was selected Bill Polian was saying these are compensatory picks which can not be traded. I would think at the urging of the league he would be picked here. And he was, as he stayed in the same state he played college in.
