Catching up on games this past weekend. Finished that Packers & Bengals game and that was crazy. 5 straight missed field goals is nuts.

So awhile ago… I was tuning-in on one of the sports radio shows here and I guess the idea of Mac Jones-for-Deshaun Watson is becoming a narrative for them. To listen to Bert Breer actually chime-in and rationalize the trade idea is ****ing disgusting.

they opened up the conversation with the thought that Deshaun is a “distressed asset” therefore BB would trade for him, make him “look good” and hopefully catch up to Shula’s record.:sick::sick::sick::sick:

Would definitely take Deshaun on the Vikes. He'd be filthy with that offense.

I actually just learned that Kirk's no trade clause was dropped with his extension last year :nerd:

From a player standpoint I’d obviously like Deshaun as a Vikings QB but the Spielman/Zimmer regime was ran through the whole Adrian Peterson switch thing and they fumbled that hideously, so unless it’s a new regime I don’t see them being the one that bites that bait. Even if that was 7 years ago, the team lost a lot of sponsors temporarily and aren’t going to entertain that again.

How the F is this MFer Snyder so untouchable? Urban Meyer and Dan Snyder really dodging some real bullets here.

Gruden was the sacrificial lamb during this whole thing too. Which is surprising to me, considering how well liked he was around the NFL. He had to be in order to get the contract he did, considering his record. Only a white guy favored in the NFL could ride the coattails of only 1 Super Bowl win 20 years ago.
He started talking crazy about ppl in power…They don’t care if you say wild **** bout the players or other employees but once you start mentioning the ppl at the top like Goodell and em you cooked

Just Mac Jones?

Why wouldn’t they just take Miami’s 2 1sts and change?

As we all know, the FBI was conducting an investigation on the WFT. While combing through Bruce Allen's emails, they found all the stuff from Jon Gruden. Sent all the discovery files to the NFL/Goodell and "someone" leaked the emails to the New York Times.

Has nothing to do with going after people at the top, because history has proven even those on top can come down. The fall is much greater that way.

This was just "unfortunate" luck for Gruden. Goodell had beef with Gruden, and finally had something tangible to use to take him down permanently and get the last laugh. I'm not even surprised by what transpired. Goodell is a prep boy who came from wealth. He's as bratty and vindictive as they come.

I used to work in the building where the NFL head office is located on Park Ave. Met Goodell a few times during my time working for Goldman Sachs. Everyone I know who's interacted with him tells me he's a ****.
