It’s not at all a shock considering Schefter’s role. He gives favors to get favors. How did people think it went down? That’s why he’s an “insider”, and not in an editorial role. (Also why whenever Woj does editorial stuff it always comes off craven)

Dont think anyone is surprised but it's still funny how figures try to project a view of having an objectice relationship with your sources rather than letting them actively mold what you report on them and others with clear bias intact

He's def not the only one and this is par for the course but these insiders will shout to the heavens about the ethics and integrity of the information they report from their sources like some standard is being upheld is comical

i was just posting in here about my annoyance with Schefter a few days ago. chain this bozo to his iphone and office. he needs to just tweet and not be on field and part of broadcasts :lol

Prolly with some draft capital but their conversation was centered between Mac and Deshaun, and Deshaun’s fit with the current Pats roster.

Not sure about Miami’s picks and Tua, but Albert Breer was on the radio show too, and he echoed the same sentiments of the hosts. He said that it could be like how the Rams and the Niners were able to upgrade their QB situation ASAP after their SB appearances.

What annoys me is that it’s only been 5 games and these people in the media are already set on moving on from Mac if the opportunity presents itself even if it’s just hypotheticals and for the sake of shock value. Like with the allegations aside, Deshaun is one of the best QBs in the NFL and he’d prolly adjust easily into the Pats system, but as a fan, I’m exhausted with the controversies.
