The NFL and Integrity is an oxymoron of the highest order.

Remember the NFL is filed under 'entertainment' not 'sport'.

The NFL announced five new gambling partners at the beginning of the year and then gave refs the power to call a completely arbitrary rule (taunting). Games can't be 'fixed' but they can definitely be swayed to meet certain criteria. No other reason to explain some of the absolute horrific calls in the past couple of years.

As much as I like to gamble, this is the reason why there used to be such a clear divide between the two worlds. It may take another Black Sox scandal to go back to that..

NFL is sports entertainment like WWE. Amazing how when I was a kid ESPN wasn't talking about WWE but now they are.

The league will always be split. It’s easy to be “pro player” after you’ve played 15 years and made al your money. If a season is lost, you have enough money from the past 15 years to probably help you get by.

Young(er) players that haven’t accomplished anything or made any significant money can’t afford to sit out a season. If you’re a mediocre player or player on the bubble, that lost season can mean the end of your as next year a newer, faster guy is gonna come take your spot.

Although I do agree with Brady, I don’t ever see a full committed alliance amongst the players.
