Yea, but the Knicks drafted Grimes and McBride who are more in line with guys who you see as rotational players on a contender type of team. Knicks should absolutely still be swinging for high upside guys with star potential as well.

I wholeheartedly agree. I thought we should've swung for the fences, but I see why we didn't.
We accidentally ended up in basketball purgatory this season, too good for a high pick, too bad to contend.
When you end up there you either trust the process or build up the roster. FO decided to build.
Need stable players for that so we took stable players.
