the **** are they thinking over there.You don’t want to downgrade the frontcourt with JJJ as one of the most injury prone guys in the league.

Think Adams sees a bit of an uptick in production playing with Ja and JJJ as opposed to Alfonzo and Zeeon. Still a downgrade from Valancunias, but drop off might not be massive.

Yes that mural is still there. VERY expensive part of town, some New York "inspired" apartments right across the street they paying $3,000 rent in the 6th cheapest state in the country to look out the window at a mural of a guy 2 teams/years removed from being relevant.

Right. Only $3.9M guaranteed to him for 22/23 season. He's just a contract at this point. Don't think they care about what he actually produces.
They are good at drafting and get to pick 10 now instead of 17, and 40 instead of 51. Also get the Lakers pick next year.
Don't really understand dudes thinking this is some terrible trade for them. At all.

Grizz don't make it to the playoffs without JV last season. He was great for us and actually surprised we moved him in THIS deal. I felt like he was going to be moved one way or another while his value is high.
We should see a lot more JJJ at the 5. He saw about 65% at C during his short stint last season and about half of his time there in Year 2. I cannot wait to see what we do with these picks and its possible we keep moving up to take Kuminga or Bouk.

Easier to bench Adams than JV too. Plus you don't have to re-sign JV to a four or five year contract after this upcoming season.
