i get that but you could play through kelce. Mempis was a middle of the pack offense already. Adams doesn’t help that at all. Can’t blame JJJ missing games either because they were bottom 3rd when he played.

Nah. I ultimately think they are going to keep trying to develop Tillman and Clarke more. Play JJJ at the 5 some too. Valancunias was an expiring anyways.
If they wanted to force feed Adams minutes, he could put up numbers. Just don't see it happening.

This is somewhat why I think Giddey is not the pick.
All of the prospects for the most part we've interviewed or worked out were guys like Murphy, Grimes, Jaygup, then talk about the higher end players in Bouk, Moody, etc. It would seem more of a Chris Wallace move instead of Kleiman to not address our weaknesses (shooting, a creating wing, etc).
Grizz have an elite defense, its time to get that offense right. Look out for Jaygup or Grimes on that 40th pick unless we move up or trade it again. Maybe even Vrenz

Let see I complained about the coach last year where’s Stan at ???????. Lonzo been playing pg his whole life u put him at sg. I complained about adams and Bledsoe where they at . I don’t see how someone in their right mind can argue this . All three vets had basically career low numbers jj reddick adams and Bledsoe all three who can’t play defense and can’t score got shipped . But the young core who averaged career high numbers while moving Lonzo to sg top 12 in made threes in the nba made is the problem . Numbers don’t lie they got paid the most did the least past their prime with a horrible coach

grizzlies still see themselves as developing and rebuilding from the gasol era so why not continue to add young talent to the core knowing they not getting FA’s
If Ja was entering his mid-late 20’s and had a contract coming up then yeah it’s a bad time to be doing that, but that is not the case
Losing Jonas makes them worse in the short run, but I won’t be surprised if they get another gem in the draft.
All the while their young guns make another leap.

Right Val was their best player a lot of nights.
You’re making JJJ a bigger piece of the picture when up to this point he’s either been fouling or injured.
He has a ways to go so they already needed another bucket before this move, now they REALLY need it. Draft is deep enough where you could’ve stayed at 17.
But if they really like a guy in that 10 range you gotta give their scouts + FO the benefit of the doubt.

Initially trade looked funny to me for the Grizz. But Bledsoe not staying is good. Their FO has honestly done a pretty damn good job scouting talent too, so they gotta have something planned for that pick they're high on.
