I don’t think anyone will say Draymond was the best player because he wasn’t. I don’t even think he was the argument for most important. For example, I think KD is the best player on the Nets but Harden is the most important.
They will say he was the defensive anchor and motor/glue guy that made the offense run which I don’t think is too off base or severely overrating his contributions.
As someone pointed out last night, him getting inducted into the HOF is where the conversation gets shaky

I mean Chris Webber and Chris Bosh are both in the hall of fame and I don’t think either of them are better than draymond. Bosh literally has lebron to thank for getting him 2 rings
