I don’t know, man. It’s one thing for a victim to throw out sexual assault claims but it’s a wholllleeee ‘nother ballgame for third parties to start doing it. It also kind of doesn’t make sense from the perspective that they’d be like “Let’s accuse our franchise player of being Bill Cosby so it drives the interest down but also makes our fanbase look at him with disgust”

I am torn on the Deshaun Watstein story

we’ve seen people look very publicly foolish when defending people they know

you can’t speak to a situation if you weren’t there or involved and shouldn’t

speak to the person you know and your experiences with them.. you got zero clue what that person could be doing when they think they won’t get caught or have to face ramifications for their actions

It’s going to be interesting to see this one play out and all the information come to light. I’ll say this though. If he is indeed innocent. By all accounts, he should try to hit anyone who played a part in damaging his name financially. Because even if he’s proven completely innocent. The damage in the court of public opinion and to his reputation is still going to be there.

But none of us know Deshaun Watson personally. He seems like a nice guy when the cameras are on. But who knows how he is behind the scenes. But the timing on this one is just funny as can be.

In the event that he did do the stuff he’s accused of. I guess I could see the women being hesitant to speak out last year given Watsons popularity within the city. With him wanting out. Maybe they felt more comfortable coming out now.

By having multiple press conferences and post messages (that would be used as evidence) on Instagram, and running off his resume when announcing that he’s taking the case, it just looks like he’s in it for the notoriety.

Deshaun Watson publicly makes it clear he wants out from a trash toxic organization. A month later he’s suddenly the Bill Cosby of Houston. It’s not adding up to me.

If in the event he really did any of the stuff he’s being accused of, I’ll change my opinion. But it just looks like spiteful bitter behavior at this point.
