Also for the legal eagles in here, is it normal procedure for lawyers to start posting documents and updates related to a civil case on social media like nothing?

Felt surreal seeing dude posting correspondences with the league and potential evidence on IG the way people share memes

I highly doubt that, but we are in the social media age.

Gotta get dem retweets and likes. :pimp:

Seriously though if it's all these women coming for Deshaun there has gotta be something right?

Not gonna lie, I feel slightly bad. Slightly.

It’s just wild to me that the Texans owner and the attorney of the accusers are friends. I know it’s a civil case so there can’t formally be conflict of interest but I would think either A. Both parties wouldn’t want him to take the case or B. If I’m an accuser, I wouldn’t want an attorney whose friend has an interest in making sure the man I’m accusing walks.

Lower the trade value to make him untradable. Now he has to stay in Houston.
Lowering the trade value =/= making him untradable. I guess it technically gives them a reason to not trade him but it doesn’t make him untradable IMO.

If you're willing to completely ruin the image and possibly get criminal charges filed on your franchise player to simply keep him in uniform is a very weird plot.

Deshaun Watson plays football pretty well still. Sexual assault allegations aren't stopping teams from interest either

Until he goes to prison or turns into Mitchell Trubisky, teams will still want in

I’m saying bro. This isn’t a storyline on a season of Ballers or something

I hope everyone takea notice of what's going with Watson.

A black man in Texas refused to continue playing for the Texans and demanded a trade. He was given a chance to reconsider and he refused. Then out of nowhere 12 woman came forward to accuse Watson of sexual misconduct.

The entire network downthere colluding to **** over the brother.

Then again, this is conspiracy theory, but highly possible.

this. Like if there are really 22 counts he could very well face life in prison if convicted.

A team owner trying to get their OWN player hit with multiple counts of rape has to be the dumbest plot ever.

So the end game is to lock yo up cuz he wants to be traded? Cuz they better off trading him than keeping him and having his rep be some type of sexual predator who doesn’t even wanna be there

Duh ....

They aint taking orders from a Black man, they ratjer set an example!

The concept is nothing new ... where you been?

I mean I guess so but that’s kinda extreme for a trade request...Especially when it happens from time to time so ain’t nothing new
It's the ******* Texans bro.

But again, conspiracy theory. 🙄

With the cancel culture and me too still going strong, don't see why a team would want to take in this kind of problem.

From what I've read no criminal charges or reports have ever been filed and they're all civil cases so he's not in jeopardy of that yet

I can definitely see the league suspending him though like they did with Zeke.

Football and trade value might not be a part of the calculus at all for the McNairs.

The late patriarch of the McNair family (who's family friend and neighbor just so happens to be the lawyer for an abundance of instantly emerging plaintiffs) very recently said, "we can't have the inmates running the prison" in regards to the labor rights and freedom of expression of an overwhelming black professional workforce.

In what's essentially a very public labor dispute that has gone on for months, Deshaun has basically said "**** your plantation, you don't own me," publicly and directly to the McNair family.
