17th game doesn’t even make sense. Only $ related.
Not sure how salary cap works in this scenario and how money is involved for players, but didn’t they lower the cap this season? Wouldn’t this change increase the cap to accommodate for 17 games?

Probably not. Players $ just gonna get spread over 17 games lol.

What do y'all think Trey Lances 40 would been? 👀

probably not as fast as Mac Jones

This is strictly from a viewer perspective. But the 17 game schedule is cool if they cut down the preseason games. As we saw early this season between injuries and guys being rusty, you need a preseason in some capacity to get guys ready in some capacity. But the preseason doesn’t need to be as long as it is.

But if they could set it up to where the Super Bowl was played on Presidents Day weekend when most people are off that Monday. That would be cool. But pay the players accordingly if you want that extra game. Sadly the NFLPA loves bending over and taking it with no lube when it comes to negotiations, so that probably doesn’t happen.

Never expected to see a Colt taking up for a Texan

Sums up how wild the whole situation is

It's because nobody knows who the **** he is.

Is Watson really getting killed out there like that? I don't watch ESPN and haven't watched NFLN, but most I hear is the wait and see approach.
