I definitely think the Jets needed to move on from Darnold and that it was a bad marriage.

But its starting to feel like he's the reason they were bad, and not that they haven't had an offensive Pro Bowler since Nick Mangold, Chris Ivory & Brandon Marshall in 2015.

Kyle looking at this ...
I'm pretty sure these stats would look the same for Blake Sims, AJ McCarron, and Greg McElroy.

I will say Mac Jones is definitely different from those guys though.

I don't think any competent Jet fan blames Sam, but he wasn't it for the organization.

Gase was the root of all that **** and just like a lot of things, he needed to be moved to start a new clean slate.

Look it up ... I don't know ... im not posting them to support a Mac Jones pick ... just saying how these people view players sometimes...

Soooooooooooooo I’m assuming panthers couldn’t trade up, which means falcons going QB?

The fact that we still got a 2nd rounder (albeit next season) this late into the off-season is a win. Solid haul for the Jets.

Sam is going to a much better situation, which is the frustrating part considering the Jets should have been building around him properly from the jump. That's an organizational failure. There is a reason why Maccagnan doesn't have a job, and currently the same for Gase.

THAT SAID, he still sucked for the majority of the last three years . He was making the same mistakes too often. To me, it isn't fair to have to 'force' Joe Douglas, Saleh & the new staff to have to attempt to fix him. It's best to start anew as they are.

I'll be rooting for him in Carolina, and I definitely feel a little dirty being happy he's gone, but it was just the right move for both sides.

New England?
yea that’s one team down that’s ahead of them that could have drafted a qb. now we gotta just get passed denver

also it’s good because the jets restart their ******** cycle of drafting a qb and ruining them instead of building around them with weapons

win win.

I know Family Feud tapes like three shows a day at the very least too, most of the time when you see a family advance on to the next day against a new family, it's the same day. Pretty sure Pat Sajak/Vanna White tape like 3-4 a day too.

Yeah I'm sure those days aren't loved at this point by the hosts that don't still grasp how great that is, but it's probably only like an 8-hour day once or twice per week when they're doing that, and then they're off the rest of the 3 or 4 days a week.

It’s gonna be hilarious if 1-2 of the QBs the Panthers wanted at 8 are still around when they pick. They must know for a fact at least 4 QBs will be drafted by then. The one they think MIGHT be there has to be Mac Jones. That’s why they picked Darnold.
