I remember Ricky Rubio was supposed to come to the league and be Pistol Pete/Magic Johnson. I remember Carlos Arroyo looking like peak AI in the Olympics then looking like regular Carlos Arroyo back in the league.

That is a middle school elite basketball camp up there. Not “AAU”. That thing has been going on forever. Moves like that are expected kinda. That’s the all star game version. In fact, there are multiple current NBA players, who played in that very camp with the freaky jerseys.
