I think its moreso publicizing it which ppl may feel different about. I doubt anyone has qualms about the actual act

Heard a NFL player (can’t remember who exactly) interviewed on the radio not long ago. Been in the league for something like 12 years. Host asked him what the biggest difference is between players coming in the league now and his time and without any hesitation he said the importance of/focus on social media for the younger generation. They’re just wired to filter everything through social media.
