Being a potential tier 1 scorer will always supersede a player who's best asset is vision / playmaking. If the ball is in your hands, you're going to have to be able to score against good defenses in the playoffs.

Tried to tell osh kosh bosh this in the draft thread a couple years ago. If you can have a bigger, stronger, more athletic version of MJ, it’s a no brainer to take him #1 over Lamelo.
