I'm already thinking about the offseason. The obvious major move would be Harden's contract. He will most likely opt into his final year and then have the option to extend. This can go so many ways:
- Just opt in and play a healthy year to regain your value (if it was indeed an injury)
- 1 +4 that he's eligible for. the price will be key here
- Take a full make on a shorter term deal

If we pay Harden the max, then this team will not be constructed to win a chip. There are pieces that we need to fill badly. Primarily a backup big and 3&Ds.

I also hate that Doc gets another break. Last year it was because all eyes were on Ben, Doc's failures went under the radar. Now it's because of Embiid's injury, but if the Sixers can't even win one game against the Heat without Embiid, that's still a very bad look.
