Chris Paul is the primary tough bucket getter on this team... And he's 37. He can't be that guy every night. It's just hard to win a title without one of those guys.

His lack of scoring prowess has been an issue all season. They've disguised it well, but all your faults are on full display after round 1. Mavs been aggressive at the POA and brought the big to the level to kill CP3's ability to snake into space. Completely disrupted his offensive attack.

Damn the foul trouble, he didn't even take a shot in the 1st quarter. It's...inconsistent for him when teams are locked in to his pet ****.

Fun series though. 2-2.

Kawhi Leonard won a title on one leg doing nothing but getting a bunch of tough buckets. He smacked multiple teams around.

You could never ask Devin Booker to go out there and get 10-15 tough buckets every night. He's not that guy. And this is why I don't think they can get over the hump.

I would trust Paul George to do that on this Suns team as a good parallel
