Which, really is the smartest thing they can do, losing him for a "2nd" round comp pick isn't worth it at all. Unless they are positive they can resign him, they really should take the dive. Flipping him and Britton could net them a very nice haul to start over with.

If the Nats weren’t hosting the All-Star Game this year, I bet they’d be looking to deal Harper right now. I think it’s a little harder to trade him though cause you have no clue where he’ll sign.
