They didn’t insure his contract based on his previous injuries. They said the premiums would be too high. He could probably actually get his whole contract so they’re trying to negotiate a settlement.

The Braves have multiple pitchers on their staff that should be Designated For Assignment immediately. This is beyond frustrating :smh:
 
Does Trout have value? He is always hurt.
I’m guessing a team will load up the prospects to convince the Angels to eat a good amount of his contract, so AAV could drop to $25M/year. That back issue the main concern but it’s the hand that’s keeping him out rn, just terrible luck.
