and possibly kershawScherzer had back surgery and is out til June/July...
So some time post ASB, the Rangers are gonna get back Max, deGrom and Mahle ... Six man second half rotation inbound BIG TIME
Bro, to me it sounds like a worse version of the Albert Pujols deal that the ANGELS got.
I mean, dude hit the wall way too soon after they acquired him.
He left behind his feet and Playoff runs and they got the he looks like he is running in Cowboys Albert
3 straight MVPs and Sawamuras (Japanese Cy Young-equivalent) will do that. He’s only 25 and is a sure top of rotation-type arm too, market for SPs is there right now.How is somebody who has never played in the MLB going to make $300M off the jump
Life is weird.
Because you may want to not give somebody $300M guaranteed before they play the best. There’s been a ton of Japanese players that are busts that come over. “This is not 1945” as if I’m talking like WW2 times is the laziest argument for paying him $300M put in some effort.Yes I don’t understand why playing the “MLB” matters.
This isn’t 1945.
It’s definitely wild but signings are educated guesses anyways, whether one is paying for history of performance or predicted production. Based on the teams in the running, including those that have offered $300M+, folks believe his stuff will translate and his value is set.Because you may want to not give somebody $300M guaranteed before they play the best. I’ve been through Tsuyoshi Nishioka personally, and Kaz Matsui is the prototype. I’m just saying they can do their evaluations but 43% of what the Dodgers paid Ohtani who has proven he can play, is absurd. It’s definitely wild but signings are educated guesses anyways, whether one is paying for history of performance or predicted production. He’s younger and better than Senga, who’s contract was a steal in hindsight.
You’re not worth it stopYou should cry about it some more.
