man the breakdown of his body in cincy was heartbreaking. superman became mr glass. that **** hurt back then and it hurts to see this string of injuries shown all at once

I blame the Kingdome taking a tow on The Kid. Wish this doc would’ve gotten real about what was going on in Seattle leading up to the trade too. I heard the M’s were prioritizing A-Rod at the time and using him as leverage against Griffey. Another thing that was confusing to me is how they built a pitchers park with limited dimensions to maximize the Kid’s strengths.

He's for sure one of the biggest what-if's in sports history. If those Cincy years were all healthy, man. That HR record would have been his. I've been preaching this for a damn decade.

Number 4 seems to have already become reality over the last 2 offseasons but yea the other points don't really paint a pretty picture for the league/sport's future...
The owners will be reaping what they sow though with their stubbornness as the league falls further into irrelevance
How they went from potentially being able to be the first major league to start/continue play under the circumstances and having all the attention on them to this debacle might be some of the worst league management I've ever seen
