This had to be the worst draft since 2000...I think you just take whoever you feel can be a starter that's fine.

I like Dillingham, but constructing a starting lineup with him in it where you have an above-average defense seems like it might be impossible. Would be very uncomfortable taking a Trae Young size guard #1 who isn't Trae Young talent.

Shepherd same, seems to be a good player but not at all the athleticism or skillset we associate with a no. 1 pick.

I would probably just take a shot on any of the French guys or Topic at no. 1 just off of pure variance.
 
If you look at Cal's history, damn near all of his recent gaurds were better in the pros than they were in college.


but man Reed isn't he basically a 6'3 shooting gaurd?

Is it crazy without having seen him play once that Buzelis should be in the no.1 convo? At least he’s 6’10 and if he can shoot has a clear pathway to being a pretty good player.
 
I don't dislike Reed but if I'm going to take a small guard with a top pick imma go Rob. Higher ceiling.

I also like Collier more than Reed.
