The suede on the Baos did it for me too, I like that raw unfinished look it has. And in a break from my normal tastes I actually like the one color mid/outsole. Normally I want to see dunks in WHITE midsole/ x Color Outsole (with a high preference for gum) but on these it just hits all the right marks to become a pair I want to get.

Do the guys screaming "THESE ARE GR, CALM DOWN" on every page understand that those of us who like the Boa's don't care. We genuinely like a shoe and want it as soon as possible. The term hypebeast gets thrown around too cavalier in regards to people expressing their love for a certain colorway that others might not like.

I enjoy buying shoes I want on RD regardless of rarity. Non white midsole + suede = love at first sight. I'll be damned if I wait a month for some shoes to go on sale to save maybe $20 when its a shoe I 100% want.

baos are wicked. I love the colour of that sole. Wish there was a little more colour on that shoe though. The suede looks like it will be difficult to maintain.

At first glance, I didn't really like the shoe that much myself. What really bothered me was the weird looking furry suede. But the more I looked at it, the more it started to appeal to me. The translucent bluish sole with the white laces really set it off for me. With the white, black, red based dunks that I have in my collection, I thought it be good to switch it up to something different like this pair.

They'll probably be like the Fire and Ice for me. Both have a similar translucent sole but that's what made it and iffy shoe for me but as soon as I got them for $50 and seen them in person I liked them. If I can get the Baohaus on disco I'll pick them up.

Easy man. No one is clowning people for liking it, or calling anyone who does a hypebeast at all. I hope everyone eats on EVERY release regardless of if I want it or not. Why wouldn't I? It is what makes the thread tick. If no one ever ate, we wouldn't be here.

A lot of people who keep asking "What day do they drop? What is the exact release date?" The answer to that specific question is "They are a GR and have no set release date." This information is posted on numerous threads. So no one is clowning anyone for saying "I like the Bao and I'm going to pull the trigger ASAP."

Well I've been one of those saying I think the Baohaus are hyped but when I say hype, I mean it in a literal term and not in any sort of "sneakerhead" term.
