2024 NIKE SB DUNK THREAD_____GRs and QSs added

Regarding the blazer with the tongue that says "dunk SB" I was browsing ebay and saw a listing for the 2010 Dunk AC which I remember being everywhere at the time. Kind of a dunk/blazer hybrid.

There was another budget nike GR around 2010 as well that kind of resembled a blazer/dunk mashup too. I can't for the life of me remember the name of it. It had a balzer toe, vamp, sole, and lacing, but had the heel panel like dunks have.

Never went to blades because of the name. Thought they primarily sold rollerblades. This was late 90's. My homies would cop illuminati decks there, I'd just be like why can't we just hit up supreme .

Rather hit up Labor.

some new dunks:

Need to see better pictures of course, which might ultimately change my mind, but at this moment the pink pair is the only pair that looks even remotely good to me. IMO the “Cinco de Mayo” pairs looks super plain, and the “Infrared” pair has bad color blocking (never been a fan of just that back panel having a solid color like that). Hopefully we get better pictures soon so that we can all see what we’re really working with. But, the Safaris, which also are showed in the video, do look good here. They’re moving from a “I want” to an “I think I need.” They’re not Yoga fire to me personally, but they’re clean, pretty damn unique looking, and I currently have nothing Safari in my collection and these would fill that void.

Hard to tell what those white highs from the screenshots really look like but I’ve never liked the piping on the panels. Just make it solid.

So yeah I decided I’m good on the white rayguns. Can’t get over the tie dye toe box. The black pair still appears to be solid black so I will be going for those. Always liked the black OG more any way.
As it gets closer I don't know that I even really want the black pair.

I don't exactly own clothes that fit those colors.

Hey guys I was hoping to get some input on this. So I don’t consider myself an SB noob as I can vividly remember the early to mid ‘00s SB golden era and it’s significance to the culture at that time (supremes come to mind) but wasn’t paying too much attention. I used to skate too but always used vans and chucks when I did. At that time I just wasn’t into dunks (or any shoes, went on like a 7 year hiatus after graduating HS) at all and they didn’t appeal to me like they do at this point in my life although I always wanted those skunk dunk HIs (to this day) granted those where more recent than the time frame I referring too. Anyway, my point is I wanted to ask you guys about the Rayguns, specifically the OGs. What’s their significance? Why does everyone in here seem to like them so much? They’re not all that great looking of a shoe to me but perhaps I’m missing something about why they’re so special. Any of you SB aficionados want to chime in and enlighten me? Promise I’m not a noob lol.

they closed the other location i think a few years ago. RIP to them Clientele, Nort, Union, Casino and all the other small skate shops we once had.
Used to love Nort and Union.

I haven't heard those names mentioned in years! Those were my go to shops in the early 2000's. I still have a few Clientele beanies laying around.

I bought my 2nd pair of Hawaii's from Secret Society in 2006.

Funny...when these places were around, I was in college so I used to visit on breaks and usually never came up on any SB's or anything like that. But I bought my Last Shot XIV's in 05 from Nort.. still have the shoes and the receipt too! Lol.

Hawaiis hurt.. been trying like hell to cop (again..had them in like 06) them but everyone wants way too much. Wanted to use that ebay deal yday and it was STILL too much especially after all the December stuff I'm copping this month.

never considered Nort or Clienetele skate shops. still appreciated though. NORT outerwear was on point too.
