i agree it would be nice if bosh missed the playoffs and walsh had some more time to pitch to him.

my biggest fear is bron bron messing with us for 3 weeks and everyone else signing deals.

Diving & Thriving

Great game from Earl Baron. It's nice to see guys like that succeed - guys who don't get everything served to them on a silver platter or behave like the world owes them something. Hopefully he continues to play well and ultimately finds a place in the NBA permanently. There's so many hungry and talented guys in the "development" league who would do really well in the majors if only they were given real & proper opportunities instead of being easily dismissed by suit and tie guys who've never played ball in their lives and are more interested in playing politics to further their own careers. There seems to hardly be anything developmental about the D-League.

Now i gotta root vs the raptors...

You gotta like D. Lee, dude can finish, use his body so he won't get blocked.
After what Walsh told him to become elite he now need to work on defense... & how hard he work i can see him becoming a good defender and hitting threes next season..

Yea i think he'll be hitting threes...

Bosh broke his nose today, probably will miss the rest of the season...

Toronto - Celts, Hawks, Bulls, Detroit, Knicks
Bulls - Cavs, Nets, Raptors, Celtics Charlotte

^I think the Bulls have a better chance of beating the Cavs than Toronto also...We all saw how they gave Boston problems last year....

Also, as messed up as it is, I really hope Boston gets that 3 spot and Atlanta falls to 4, just so the Cavs have to face Atl in the playoffs before Orlando. Otherwise, they're getting an easy run to the nba finals

Yup, next season Lee will improve in both areas. What I don't get is Walsh calling out Lee's defense when his head coach got butt hurt at his previous place of employment when they started making moves to address defense. Anyway, every single season of Lee's career has seen improvement in one aspect of his game. Having him at PF should make his improvement incredibly noticeable.

He was a horrible FT shooter his rookie season. He had no jumpshot in his 2nd or 3rd seasons. He had no dribble.

He has always been a rebounder. However, the ONLY thing I don't like about his rebounding is on the offensive end, I see him taking off early instead of going down to bang for the offensive 'bound. Obviously that hasn't hurt his stats one bit, but everyone needs extra possessions.

Not to beat a dead horse GR8 but I have to disagree with you (although I won't in as many words as you did

). If you say Turner's ceiling is Roy, then that's the perfect fit for that team. Running the floor with Flynn and Brewer with outlet passes from Love would be an ideal fit for Turner. I don't think you can say there's no way the Jazz would be the only team to trade that pick or not pick Wall. Warriors get the #2...#1 and Jefferson for #2 and Ellis isn't out of the question IMO. I just don't see them taking Wall. Flynn isn't going to get them what they think they should get back in return and neither is Rubio. That's just me.

David Lee in that p icture

and i dont want Lee shooting 3s, period.

You have to remember, Bulls were giving Boston a hard time due to BG. we'll see how they go without his clutchness.
Walsh: 'We're Going To Get Good Players'
Donnie Walsh elaborated some on why he chose the Knicks' current free-agent course rather than a plan to improve the team by trade or the draft.

"We're going to get good players," Walsh said. "Better players than we could have gotten in a trade, better than we could have gotten in the draft, other than if you had gotten in the top five."

Walsh does not concern himself with the rampant speculation about which way certain free-agents may be leaning.

"My feeling is nobody knows until you talk to the guy himself, and then you'll find out," Walsh said.

"Like I've told you before, I can't imagine why free-agents wouldn't look at this place and come here. I mean, this is the most incredible basketball atmosphere I've ever been in, and I've been in North Carolina and Indiana."

next few months are gonna be intense. playoffs then free agency.

imagine if we got that 8th seed. media would have been ecstatic

Good win. I think all Gallo needs is some confidence, he said he learned from last night that they can do this every night. I say he carries it with him into tonight. I really do think he'll get better. It might take him a while, but he will.
I'm pissed at the Garden for not giving Nate any attention when he came in.

Manu Ginobili is close to reaching agreement on a three-year extension with the Spurs, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The deal is expected to be worth approximately $40 million.

Ginobili’s agent, Herb Rudoy, is expected to meet with Spurs officials after the team returns from Phoenix Thursday morning.

RealGM Note: Ginobili is ranked 41st in season FIC during the 09-10 season, giving him a Reina Value of +12%, 'deserving' Samuel Dalembert's salary just over $12M. At an annual average of $13.3M, Ginobili will need to maintain his current level of play until he's 35 for the Spurs to recoup their investment. Because of the flood of teams with cap space, Ginobili could have very conceivably made more on the open market.

Cavs Vs Knicks. 1st round ? lol

"Lebron spoke to Walsh after the game"

"Lebron stares at the New York Knicks Jersey"

"Lebron likes Gallo's orange socks"

Al Harrington will have shoulder surgery on Thursday. He is expected to undergo 3-4 months of rehab.
RealGM Note: His final rank will decline slightly, but Harrington is currently 88th in season FIC, meaning he 'deserves' Stephen Jackson's salary of $7.65M and has a Reina Value of -12%.

It's too late. Wish it happened few months ago. No hard feeling. Without Al Harrington, I except a Knicks win.
