Yeah, I can't front. I was never the biggest Nate fan.

But I'm happy that he has been having an impact on the Finals.

It would be good to see him get a ring.

dude if he 100 percent endorsed him than izzo would have signed a week ago. that's a ridiculous assumption.

You really think LeBron is going to stay because of Tom freakin Izzo???

And what exactly is this upcoming convo between Izzo and LBJ going to be about? Izzo going to try and put his recruiting skills to the test? Good luck with that.

It's not so much as Izzo being the key to keeping Lebron in Cleveland as it is Lebron being the reason Izzo took the job. Izzo's the kind of guy that could have gone to the NBA whenever he wanted to for the past decade, and the fact that he's very close to taking the job (which he will wait to report his deicision after his son finishes school which is sometime this week) makes me think that he's confident Lebron is staying put. Izzo's no moron, he's not going to the Cavs if Lebron is bolting.

LeBron Won't Commit To Anything For Cavs Until Free Agency Begins

Cleveland Plain Dealer - 06/14 - 1:08 PM EST (AP Photo)

LeBron James has not spoken with Tom Izzo about the job or his future and currently has no plans to do so, according to a source.

James intends to become a free agent on July 1 and does not plan on committing to anything until after he explores his free agent options.

James is not expected to make any sort of promise or guarantee that he'll re-sign with the Cavaliers no matter who the team ends up hiring.

Knicks Assemble Celebrity Group To Lure LeBron

New York Post - 06/15 - 8:02 AM EST (AP Photo)

The Knicks have put together a committee of New York's biggest celebrities to help bring free agents to the team this summer.

Of course, LeBron James is the biggest prize.

"New York would be a great thing for LeBron," said Donald Trump, who is joined on the committee by Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Boomer Esiason and Spike Lee.

"He would take over the city," said Trump of James. "I am in many different cities, but I can tell you, LeBron, there is only one New York."

Sources told the New York Post that the stars are expected to meet with free agents and even show them around the city.

We better hope Lebron James is a huge Brian Fellows fan, otherwise Tracy Morgan may not be the best representative of the city.

to some people(actually most people):
going somewhere with no expectations and making 30 million dollars> staying put with expectations making 15 million dollars

has nothing to do with smart and dumb

nah lebron just wouldn't spill the beans to him. whichi guess is great for us.

PS the guy who was the main "source" of the all chicago rumors says he doesn't know anything. could be lying, who knows what's real and what's a smokescreen at this point

In a radio interview with Jerry Stackhouse and Bill Lekas, William Wesley claimed that he is not involved in LeBron James' decision-making process related to the superstar's upcoming free agency.

"He’s going through the process that was afforded to him. He’s going to touch each base of the process of free agency, I believe," Wesley said. "I haven’t sat down and talked to him. I don’t wanna sit down with him and talk to him about it unless, you know, if he brings something to me or asks a question or something along those lines I’ll address it. But this is his decision for him and his family to make."

When pressed further about James' feelings on free agency, Wesley said, "I just shared with you I haven’t even conversated with him about this process because this is his family and that’s their process. So, you know, I haven’t talked to him about that."

"When it comes to people making decisions, I don't really think it's based on what happened in the past," Anthony said. "It's what they have right now, the pieces on the team right now. I like Lee. I love [Danilo] Gallinari. And David is a 20-and-10 guy every game. So they have some pieces there."

Curry has been at the MSG Training Center regularly and working out at the facility along with the few other Knicks actually under contract. One player who showed up about a week ago is Bill Walker, who has apparently already dropped about 10 pounds. The Knicks want him around 220 and word is Walker was playing at about 240 during the season.

good stuff about walker. the young guys are probably taking the off season very seriously. if bron and bosh come i think tmac might try to redefine his legacy. we could turn him into an excellent 6th man if he's healthy. imagine he goes from being a quitter to the guy who gave up millions of dollars to try and win a championship in NYC
