ADIDAS BBall Boost Thread - BYW, Crazy Explosive & Crazy Light & OTHER BBALL ADJACENT SNEAKERS

You know they charge an extra $10USD just for the Players logo right? I don't care if a shoe has a player's logo, player's exclusive or player's signature just give me a good looking shoe with modern tech and a nice colorway at decent price.

these are the only 2 CL 2016s in my country.. priced at around $178 usd tho.. also we don't get half sizes here so would i be fine if i went TTS? it's just for casual wear btw.
TTS should be okay for casual.  Harden is still wearing them for pro-am league play, but one miss was the "Liberties" colorway.  I think they weren't sure if he was going to play for Team USA or not.  Those have his logo, but he declined to play for Team USA.
No Harden logo is better because first of all the logo sucks and secondly you save $10 bucks off retail.
Agreed.

Coupon codes on $120 retail make these a really good deal.  Their flagship tech. in boost and a jacquard upper.  Taking a look at what you can get from other companies at $120 retail and the options don't really compare.  Maybe the JC2 Low, and maybe the Hyperrev line, but the zoom implementation is average to me.

CLB in red at Urban Outfitters for $80 online if anyone looking. They don't have my size though. Damn.

CLB16 is probably one of the most 50/50 opinion when it comes to sizing due to heel slip i've ever seen.

I think it's the shoe design but you can pretty much go half size down or tts depending how your feet fits in it (meaning you'll never know until you actually try them on).

If it's on the wide side, probably safer to go tts but if not then half size down.

With that said, to confuse you further but I have wide feet and would go half size down but that is mainly based on just trying them on in-store.

Also, be careful with that phrasing.  I think you mean run big, which is what a lot of people think.  Doubt anyone will say they run small.

My size in Adidas bball recently is .5 down from Nike/Jordan bball.  So I would personally say they run big compared to certain models, but not compared to Adidas.

I went half size down to get a great fit. I have wide feet. I wish I hadn't though because I really want to changed the stock insole. Its really thin and I'd like to put a nicer cushioned insole in it and I can't. Boost feels great walking around but the forefoot cushion isn't enough for me. I have bad knees though lol.

White is one of the cleanest colorways to date. Waiting for my Lillard 2's to die so i can try em out.

Anybody need the hook up on anything adidas PM me.
Are we talking info. or like discounts on product?
much upgrade from the 2015!  simply want to dump my 2015s due to the forefoot cushioning...
My 2015's are strictly casual/shoot-around use now.  They don't even compare to the 16.  Can't wait to see the 2016 drop in price to what the 15's are going for now.

I cant decide between the crazy explosive or gold harden CLB16....help me decide guys!!!!

The worst thing is my local store-Hibbetts doesn't carry any adidas BBall shoes.  So its either Nike or UA and honestly to fit my size mostly Nike.

Well i had a long detailed review that got wiped out when i hit submit :{

But basically, i've worn the CLB 2016 4 times now.

Just for background, i'm 5'10 150 lbs, play PG/SG and mainly look to attack off the dribble. I always wear 2 pairs of socks whenever i play. I wear a size 10 in these (same as my CLB 2015 and Lillard 2s, for reference i wear a size 10.5 in kobes and kyries).

PROS:

- haven't experienced heel slips that some of yall have mentioned.
- traction is awesome.
- cushion is more than adequate while maintaining a low to the ground feel.
- lockdown and stability (with that outrigger) has been on point for me.

CONS: (more like nitpicks tbh)

- i've had to re-lace the shoe at times (not more than once a game) to maintain the fit...not really a big deal to me, but just pointing it out.
- wish they were a tad lighter...another nitpick, i know, but the shoe is called "Crazylight" but it's not really crazy light...i mean they're not heavy by any stretch, and it's not like they feel bulky/clunky...but again, just putting it out there.

OVERALL:

- Really like this shoe. Definitely a step up from the CLB 2015. They'll remain in my rotation the rest of the year, along with my Lillard 2s and Kyrie 2s.

that is one nice *** court. Where is it at? And is that a Fiba ball?

This is at the Australian Institute of Sport. It's the complex which houses the elite ballers (and athletes from other sports) around australia and they get training, nutrition etc.

I think the FIBA ball is the GL7 which is full leather...the one in the picture is the composite leather version, which is used in a lot of domestic leagues around australia.

Agreed, that is one really nice facility.  There must be some kind of charge for admission, right?

Don't companies test their products there too?  I feel like I read on some company's page that they associate with that institution.

That's where Simmons and Exum went....you ever see them up there?
